dang that was a hard landing. chief and the commander are going to be pissed. not only did i dent the deck, i also buckled the landing gear.

YOU DID WHAT TO MY FLIGHT DECK AND ONE OF MY VIPERS, LIEUTENANT?!?!? I heard that landing all the way up in CIC...

I imagine you could. any landing you can walk away from is a good one. it wasn't all that bad of a landing if I say so myself, considering I had half of my tail feathers shot off. btw, i'm not a LT, i'm a SGT, sir!

Enlisted don't fly Vipers, jeff762, officers do, hence your character is a Lieutenant.

There are some nations that do, or at least have had, enlisted pilots. I'm pretty sure the RAF had pilots that were sergeants.
