I would have posted them myself but I'm unable to do so. The list at the bottom right of the page of things I can do on the forum doesn't include posting photos. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

You can now. You've just got to get more than 5 posts first.

Any info?

Any progress on the miniatures really. I don't collect them, but these interest me as they where designed by people I know.

Thanks! Your art made this a lot easier, in fact all the BSG minis I have built based on all the designs from Wolf's Shipyard have been SO much easier than most of my past sculpts mainly because of the multiple views and superior attention to detail. All the Battletech Mechs, tanks, etc. I did for IWM were based on single 3/4 views found in the Battletech Technical readout books and usually involved me making up the other 50% myself. The B-5 art AOG provided was a bit better there were multiple views but little detail which afforded mush artistic license. Most of the BSG minis are as much from the original art as possible except where Jim Fox and I decided changes were necessary or where the detail was so miniscule that I couldn't render it. The only liberties taken with Limerickot's designs were to make the details in the more organic aspects of the design more like the details in the Ibis ship. Assura is next in line, then who knows. I have a few designs cooking myself...

okay BIGDAWG wants more Cylons which has been my continuing lament

so what else

Lim?

Bel?

anyone?

Bueller? Bueller?

Starbuilder and IWM both added new Cylons in last couple of months but no drawings of the mon this site...

actually we need a comprehensive Cylon warbook that includes all the Cylon ships from any source...

same for the Colonials

Come on. We do have other things to do.

But they are not forgotten - I have another chapter to do and then I'll be restarting on Cylons. So you might get a couple of other types of me then. I want to do the Cylon Dreadnaught from the first war (as per one of the RDM novels).

I have been busy with fighters lately and haven't pursued Cylon my cap ship designs. I have several new designs under way but since they are being sculpted straight from my brain I don't have any art to share until they are further along.

sure looks good cylon enough and has a valid mission, I still think they need more ships for escorts, again carriers escorting carriers works poorly...

Alright, how about this:

Cylon Destroyer

Kind of a odd duck in the Cylon arsenal, this model moves away from the usual Cylon Tactic of mass Raider swarms and light armor, trading instead for heavier armor and dozens of missile tubes to wear down Colonial Forces. Each end of the arm of the craft had a cluster of ten missile tubes meant to fire off one massive barrage. It also introduced a new 'flak' missile which mimicked Colonial anti-fighter rounds, exploding in a massive burst of fragments meant to heavily damage Viper Squadrons. While it does carry a very small squadron of raiders for point defense, they are not the primary striking weapon of this craft.

yeah thats more of what they really need, actually the flak round/point defence missile was brought up in a post 3 years ago by me, pretty much all cylon ship-borne missiles (though not nukes) can be set for proximity-blast effect to kill incoming missiles and fighters ( watch the missiles in the Hub episode they appear to do just that) it was a mode of firing that we developed for the wargame rules, I havent played the FCS-modified rules in a whilebut I should dig them out for a re-reqad they were fun and I had nearly every ship model made by all the manufacturers, either of your shipswoulddow well in the game...probably.
