Also known as S**tboat. It's intended to be the Fed equivelant to the Millenium Falcon/Firefly/ect. It's going to be completely modular, and I can do customized versions for people once the base model is finished. For example, mine has a recessed bridge, hull mounted nacelles, and phaser cannons on the wings, plus a trianglar saucer. Civilian versions only come with 2 Type-4 phasers, but naval auxilaries can be better armed.

Seeming as that a Danube Class is 25 meters long, which is half your length, it doth seem you have gone for a Corvette Sir.

Also, I have never heard a gig called that, EVER in my life.

Also, did you look at my old Trek Blueprints as that your setup looks an awfully lot like them, and there are a lot of parts there, with a scale.

I would designate it as a cutter, it's larger than an auxiliary craft, as in shuttle or runabout and doesn't look like it would fit aboard most starships internally but not at the point of being a corvette which is generally a light capital ship.

This looks like it could be operated by a very small crew, as in under 10, which is a good number for an adventure.

I'd put this in the same class as the SS Raven that Seven of Nine's folks operated.

The Raven herself is about 105 meters "as best estimate" due to the door we see 7 walk though in that episode.

However, yes, this thing as 10 - 15 souls on board could be viable, as I said, I do have a lot of silly little blueprints, and think my old "Long Range/Term Science" vessel I did, oh, about 8 years ago.

Some extra items and ideas mate, yeah its bad, but hey, I started them in 1997, I have learnt a lot since then and keep meaning to get back round and redoing this lot.

Cool stuff, good insperation, but ya, this is intended to run with as little as six people so it can be used as an PC ship. She's supposed to be just big enough to be independant, but not so big as to be a treat to a military craft, the kinda thing you'd expect pirates and the Maquis to have. Right now I'm figuring about warp 5/6/8 for cuise, supercruise, and max with about 3 months of endurance for the baseline model. Still trying to decide on a class name and hull code though. Cutter works but it doesn't sound Federation, thinking of Longboat to imply big shuttle. Oh! Clipper! I love it when inperation just attacks me like that. S**tboat though, that came from my days of playing naval ops...
Destroyer = S**tboat
Cruiser = S**tsandwich
Battleship = Kings**t
Carrier = S**tstorm
Battlecarrier = S**tzilla
Good times.

Please remember that this forum is supposed to be open to ALL ages, I've only got a few words that are supposed to be blocked, and this one is one of them. The board's censor feature replaces the whole word with the replacement, so you'll need to call it a s**tboat to get past it.

Just out of curiosity, whatever happened to this?

Same thing that always happens to me, something shiny caught my eye and I went chasing it. :sad: I may or may not come back to it eventually, who knows.
