A ship I'm still playing around with, the two nacelle'd movie era Destroyer, upgrade from the Jenghiz-class, I haven't seen an official designation, but there is a picture of one with the name Apollo on it but a rather high registry number (way too high btw).

Image

Drawn in a 3 pixel : 1 meter scale might increase this to the scale used here, although I believe that's a foot to pixel scale.

It was one of my favorite light ships when I was playing SFC3

Kept tweaking and playing with it until there's nothing left to do.

The image looks a little blurry for some reason, probably Photobucket.

I've grown very fond of this class, from a technically analysis it's a very balanced vessel, just looking at it's weapon arcs, only weak in the aft sector, and the placement of it's engines and thrusters, they are balanced almost perfectly across all axis, it's obviously a very nimble and agile vessel, and with very little vectoring to account for uneven mass distribution above and below the engines probably quite fast for it's size. Logistics is this vessels weak point, that and auxiliary craft.

There are a number of other vessels on the album link that utilised a lot of the same components, there's even a Connie in there (the aft of the engineering hull was a right pain)

Is this one of FASA's old designs?

Actually no, FASA seemed to only do the single nacelle designs, like the Saladin-class I think the first appearance of the twin nacelle Destroyer is from Starfleet Command game.

Hmm...ok. The design is rather familiar...I might have to dig out my old ST:RPG stuff and walk down memory lane.

There was the Wilkerson-class destroyer.

Yeah I think photobucket compresses it unless your viewing it on a paid subcribtion any chance of putting it on drobbox or deviant art?
