Suggested by bbzwbbzw, this forum is for us all to post tutorials on how we do what we do. I'll try and get some in here quite soon, like how I do my lighting effects, etc... and I hope we can all use this subforum to great effect!

Yeah, and make sure we can get some Blender tips in, too. Ice-Dragon is doing great with his Blender drawings. I sure would like to know how he does it.

.. been experimenting with Microsoft paint and I would like to try to modify some capital ships to include large guns as in wolfmans fantastic Morpheus, Indra or Nephthys. My question is how do you copy and past parts from parts sheets and which programs are best to use as I can't seem to make it work, when I try nothing happens. Sorry if sounds stupid but Im . new to this and I'm not a great artist. I would like to contribute but lack the skill

Open the parts sheet in one mspaint windows, and your subject you want guns on in another. Select tool, draw a box around the object on the parts sheet. Right click, hit 'copy'. On the item you want added to, right click, hit paste, then drag the new gun or whatever to a blank spot on the ship schematic where you can clean up things like background colors or stray lines.

Hope that helps!

Awesome. I'd like to see your results! Also, don't be afraid to cheat and use paint.net. It's how I get cute with glow effects and sh!t.
