wood is very hard to do, thats why I gave up on it a long time ago...lol... but u have a good base...u'll get it :)

what rifle did they use as its base? can't remember.

it's an M1 carbine as a base unit.

looks to me like a M1 Carbine with a different stock. the mag, bullets and short stroke piston all scream to me M1 Carbine.
