I was feeling nostalgic for an old game.

Image

Although somewhat dated now, the W & R Heart designed Devastator outperformed every other combat aircraft in the skies and space in speed, armament, and manoeuvrability when it was first released (just after the Cylon war). The Devastator was originally designed for military use; it failed to win the contract because of the cost involved in refitting the Viper tubes aboard all of the Fleets ships.

To recoup the cost the fighter was put up for sale on the private market, and soon became a favourite with security companies. And freelance pilots. Unfortunately an unknown number ended up in the hands of pirates. The versatile Devastator is still widely used as a fighter-bomber today, however, where its lack of speed is not a problem and its agility and firepower remain above average. Most of the Devastators that are still flying today have been heavily modified.

Reminds me of a biplane or dubbeldekker from WW1., with the two sets of wings.

second one, canards are to freaking cool, even when they aren't needed!

both are boss, but I really lean towards teh second one.

Could you do a version of the one with teh blue and silver paint job, looks a bit like a sleeker ass-ender? just a sec...

Hughes Bloodhawk, that's the one chief.

I say keep them both! One for atmospheric and space flight and the other for primarily as a space fighter
