These two have been sitting on my hard drive for months and I never finished them till now.

Both are used primarily for keeping the mountain pass around Zelan City clear of fallen rocks and broken down military vehicles, they can also be deployed in orbit on my forthcoming Hercules class military supply ships, assault carriers and the like....

Very nice, Ivan!

Just one question..."deployed in orbit"...what can they do in orbit? ;-)

Morning Kurt, yes on the face of it that does seem odd doesn’t it.

Well, I am trying to paint a scene where the fleet heading for Earth in my saga are fully self sufficient and able to carry any and all provisions with them in the unfortunate event of never returning. This could be due to Cylon encounters or more likely, hostility from Earth and the need to look for other colonies, hence the need for land equipment. There would also be Earth moving equipment and other vehicles. They would be deployed not necessarily IN the fleet but on the surface of possible new colonies.

Another point of note, one of the ships I’m about to post is a massive military logistics and supply vessel, it carries supplies and equipment for the fleet, including some very large items of plant, machinery, even spare vipers, shuttles and the like, where these cranes are used to manoeuvre heavy items, maybe it will make more sense after I post my next vessels, I will try and post these ASAP but very busy decorating.

I may try and draw some more vehicles in the future but due to that decorating and events going on with my employer I’m finding it difficult concentrate on anything else right now

Glad you like them though, stay safe.

I thought they were going to be deployed like mines with magnetic wheels and use those big ole cranes to rip open starship hulls like the hulk.

That was along the lines of what I meant when I asked...

No...I think it was just a matter of crossed wires.

Thanks guys, sorry I’m just very jumpy right now with all the uncertainty around. Not knowing if I have a job, income or home is making me nervous as I said to you kurt.

That said it’s bad for everyone I know.

No worries, Ivan. I can certainly understand being jumpy...I'm an hour or so north, 90 minutes west, and half an hour south of where there have been protests/riots. The police kept things in check earlier this week, but we've seen a lot of strange cars drive slowly through our parking lot with people taking pictures. It's a tinderbox.

The birth of the Behemoth....

In their desperate search for a new home, the Cylons took a massive gamble on a project that would either deliver their salvation, or ultimately their demise.
Running out of time, fuel and materials the Cylons decided to channel all available resources into a huge salvage job of a myriad of half built and abandoned Base Stars.
They were no longer able to build, fuel or maintain a huge battle fleet, so instead turned their attention to the 'Behemoth Project'.

They had greatly underestimated the strength of the new colonial battle fleet and were unaware of the new city and tunnel network on the surface of Terra.

Expecting relatively light resistance from the remaining colonial forces they planned to carpet bomb the settlements on the surface with their new massive aircraft carrier.

The prototype proved to be a disaster with hardly any room for raiders to manoeuvre within the hangar bays and not enough space for the planned amount of raiders to ensure a successful mission.
The forerunner to the eventual ship was nothing more than a series of Beta class Base Stars sliced up and fitted together, massively under powered and with little weaponry;

Not having the time to scrap the prototype, the Cylons were forced to rethink her design and devise a way to create more space for the raiders and Centurions. Fortunately they still had just enough raw materials to extend the spaces between the original upper and lower saucers.

Using several legions of construction droids, a forerunner of the Centurions, and a great many enlisted Centurions, the ship was built out to fill these voids and many more decks were constructed between these saucers, this also gave the advantage of greatly strengthening the hull integrity along its spine.

Added along her spine were a full suite of nukes to bolster her bombing capabilities to clear a path for her raiders to begin their attacks!

Unfortunately one glaring flaw in her design was exposed at the battle of Jansen Point, namely her landing bay apertures were extremely tight and with no dorsal, ventral or lateral openings to the flight decks meant her raiders were extremely vulnerable when entering or exiting the carrier.

Despite these fatal flaws she was the largest ship ever constructed by either Cylon or Colonial forces, an absolute beast of a ship with even images of Centurions ranged along her spine, presumably to ward off or frighten away hostile crafts, much like the Jolly Roger on Earths fabled pirate ships of old.

Incredibly She can accommodate around twelve hundred various raiders and around twenty five, to thirty thousand Centurions;

Here I have included a size chart comparing her to the original Galactica in my saga along with the Pegasus,
Apologies for the large file size but I wanted clarity over pixelation.

Impressive work, Ivan! Well done! Where are the landing bays? I'm probably looking at them but not recognizing what I see.

1200 Raiders seems a little low, given it's size unless most of the ship is internal structure, at which point the thing would be damned near impossible to break apart.
