if you could make a smaller or bigger hatch(don't know your reactor size) near the engine array, you wouldn't have trouble ditching your reactor if it ever goes critical, i always wonder why most space ships have no visible exit for their reactors, because if it goes boom, you'd probably take 3/4th of the ship with it, depending on output and universe ofcourse(everyone has their own rules concerning tech)

thx for some tips about equipment, forgot to make some optical devices, also the emergency reactor hatches...have some solutions...i think

Emergency reactor ejection system: the upper section of addidtional armor plating around reactor section can be ejected by detonation of microcharges...main core tubes are under this plating

If you look at the Nemesis, there are circles aft of the dorsal guns and aft of the landing bay. My design will have 4 reactors, and they do have reactor ejection systems. Actually, there are two types of ejectors that I designed: one, the rail ejector that launches the reactor similar to the EM rail gun, and two, the messy one of course, the explosive ejector as a backup (hope this one never gets used).
