there is no such thing as overkill.. only 'open fire!' and 'I need to reload!'

Imo to do this right, u would need to go with a M32 type GL with the MAC 10 mounted under the M32's barrel with the MAC 10's ejection port pointed down. This way you have more than one shot with the GL and can use the side ways grip of the MAC 10 to support the weapon. This set up... not so good.

Yeah, just no gumption to do anything right now, too many other things to worry about. But I did down load a lot of reference material for all of it so later on when things cool down I can work on them.

Did anyone ever see the episode of Sons of Guns and what they did with the 10/22. Now that is cool. That was the Zombie episode. But it was a coool gun nontheless and I for one want one. Maybe a dozen when the apocolypse happens. Plus alot of Grenades.

It is an interesting, if over priced, stock system. If I was in a zombie apocalypse, or any apocalyptic scenario, I'd want something a little heavier than a .22LR, though. I'll stick with my AUG and its 42 round mags.

Quite true...you can also get 5.56 ammo just about anywhere, too. The thing is that you're trying to put a hole in the cranium, one of the more difficult bone structures in the body for a bullet to penetrate.

Ideally, you'd have a .22 rifle, a 5.56 rifle, a good sidearm (9mm, etc.) and a .22 sidearm, and possibly a shotgun.

Right...but it isn't a gun I'd want to solely base my chances of survival on, either.

Don't get me wrong, I love my stainless steel international stocked 10/22; it's one of my favorite guns. I just see it as being more limited than I'm comfortable with.
