While this ship won't be visited in Chapter 49, she will play a role later on in the story. This is the Mykonos, a "colony ship" similar to Delos, but built off the larger Anteaus class frame. Where Delos was an experiment in self government with minimal rules and regulations and maximizing personal freedom, Mykonos is the home to Mykonos Polytechnic, one of the premier STEM universities in the Communion.

see.... on the one hand 'experiment in self government' seems like, 'let the rebels put themselves into the same spot so we can shoot them all at once.' becaues that thing looks more like a bird cage than a starship....

I don't meant that as an insult, it looks EXCEEDINLY Civilian and I can't imagine it holding up to any kind of kinetic fire let alone even a single nuke.

Have you tried to download them? They shouldn't be resized as I have a paid account.

Macross, or more specifically, the idea of a city within a ship, was a big influence on the design thinking that went into these ships. Mykonos, Delos, the Colonial Colony class ships, all of them replicated a "city in space" in one form or another.

I'm afraid it doesn't matter if YOU have a paid account, they simply aren't available for download unless WE have a paid account, all free account/no account get is the crappy little blurred images and a "Share Image" button.

I grew up with Robotech, it was a major part of my scifi education along with Star Blazers, Star Trek, BSG & Buck Rodgers, hell, the 1st Book & Dice RPG I ever played in high school was Robotech & the later Macross Supplements!

Well, that just sucks. If you need them, send me a PM and I'll send them directly.

I remember when we (our group) first started watching Robotech back in the mid 80s. We tried all sorts of games to model it and were thrilled with Palladium brought out the RPG. While it wasn't the best (system wise, it didn't scale well), it was fun and relatively straight forward. Then again, we had been playing Palladium fantasy and Mechaniods for a couple of years by that point. When the New Generation and Invid books came out, we had an extremely long campaign that even brought the Dioni in from the Mechaniods. Nasty stuff.

And as of now the Robotech RPG is no more, Palladium announced a month or so ago they lost the license for it & were forced to stop selling it at the start of this month! :o

I wasn't into the table top game they've been doing recently & I hated the "Manga" style game books they've been putting out (in stead of the full size books) to accompany it, but the thought of Robotech not being arround anymore is just sad.

That really bites. I have the old books when they were still full sized. IMO, the decision to go smaller was purely economic and had no consideration of the gamer in mind.

I would like to see what Mike Pondsmith of R. Talsorian could do with the material. His Cyberpunk series was groundbreaking and the couple times I've met him, he has been an outstanding host.

I really wish you guys on here would quit using photobucket. to view full size from behind their paywall you have to pay. STOP IT!

I really don't have the time to move everything over to some other service. Maybe in the future, but for now, I don't. If there is something specific you want, let me know.
