Very nice!

One thing I wondered about on this ship (and the new BSG version) was why the weird engine support arrangement? Why not just extend the hull all the way back and fill the void for better structural support and stability?

Perhaps its to keep the engine separated from the main hull for safety reasons. Maybe it runs "hot" to give her more speed.
