My pleasure, Mia! If it puts a smile on her face, I'm all for it.

Chapter 48, Homecoming, has been posted. I've split it up into nine parts, it came out to 92 pages normal, and 147 when it was spaced and formatted for posting. I would have posted it Friday afternoon or evening, but I just couldn't get the motivation to see whatever the current Star Wars movie is called...and I knew a couple people would be traveling this weekend and were looking forward to the chapter.

Enjoy! I really want to hear your comments...

What happened to:
1 Belinda Gibson, from Vilo and Sons
2 Milo Luchesi, did the regulators get their man from Preserver
3 Iris Sotiria from the battlestar Conqueror, did she meet Zeus & Co
    4 Marsh

Well we got an answer to "1 Belinda Gibson, from Vilo and Sons" and it seems she's doing quite well, that said, if charger ends up with another women in his "fan club" then his daughters might stage an intervention with a lead pipe.

As for the rest, I'm going to have to re-read it as there is so much going on.

Is the New Galactica one of the ships for the Battlestar 2000 bid? The one that nearly had Adar cashing in his tenure as President pre-holocaust?

BS-1075 Galactica is a new design. I'll post it shortly in the designs section.

As you said, there is a lot going on and given the situation, the best way I could tell it was through supporting characters. Though they may be "supporting", they will have a role to play as the story unfolds.

On the other four (actually, five) characters, their fates will be revealed as the story develops, they haven't been forgotten, just set to the side for the right time.

Thanks!

It's taken six years and four months to get to where we are now, something I originally thought would take a year or so. Oops!

These supporting characters will be how the success of The Fleet is measured.

We know where they were before the Fall. We've got this snapshot of how their lives were. Now, how do they survive?

I wasn't THAT surprised that the greatest battle was waged over Virgon. They had the best bet. I'm wondering just how many 'sponsored' ships survived. Code Orange, no VP, and if Rosland is flying into the death trap that is Ragnar... *whistles the Colonial Anthem while hanging a portrait of Magnum on the wall*

I recently re-watched the mini-series to try and get a feel for the pacing and the timing, and when Adama gave his order, I really had to scratch my head about it. First, he was a passed over commander, essentially the equivalent to an old Commodore - he had to fight his ship and manage his group, second, what about the other admirals? And finally, Ragnar was a death trap, and they even showed that it was when the fleet had to run from it. So, it seemed to me that his peers would comment on it.

And Adar...I have something special in store for him.
