Sixty-nine pages and 31164 words. Now it's time to start tying things together and winding up the chapter. I might be done tomorrow or Saturday, but if so, I doubt that it will be posted before Tuesday unless I work all day Saturday on it.

I've been twisting canon since day 1, now it's time to take a fire axe to it...

Rereading, and at Cum Magna Vidicta, this was playing when Tamsin and Athena Knocked Ishtar Face first into the sand.

Taken in a different context, that might have been a playground fight between an Olympian and a Babylonian....

This is going to be the longest chapter yet. I had considered breaking it into two pieces, but given how there are several interlinked story threads, I want to keep it together as one. It stands at 78 pages and 34879 words and I have five segments yet to complete. I am going to work on at least one more tonight, so with my studies tomorrow and class on Monday, I don't foresee completing the draft until Tuesday or Wednesday. After that, a couple days to edit, and it could be posted as early as next weekend.

Side note: I have an ALPS Glidepoint keyboard that I've been using for 22 years. Thankfully, I managed to find someone who had several that were new or near new, so I have a good stash for the foreseeable future. However, the drawback is that it is a PS/2 connection that requires a PS/2 to USB adapter. I'm not sure whether it is the adapter or the KVM switch that I'm using, but ever since Day 1, I've noticed that it will drop characters without warning. I've noticed a lot of that in this chapter, so I might just dump the KVM switch since I haven't used it in two years or so. Either way, the edit is going to be brutal.

I imagine Motter with Alfred Pennysworths' voice and my brain is like... then Kevin conroy starts voicing His Grace and i'm like... The Duke of Westfield is Batman!

85 pages, 38016 words.

I have three segments to complete, which will probably put the page count somewhere probably north of 95 pages. I hope everyone thinks it is worth the wait and the length. A lot of ideas that have been on hold for years, like almost five years, are finally able to be used.

YES! My sister's getting married this weekend and hopefully I get a fresh chapter of Hecate for the flight over to Akansas!

Chapter is finished. 91 full pages and a smidge of the 92, for 40,723 words. Editing will start tomorrow.

Start tomorrow?! oh man.... maybe I'll have it for the flight home then. I just finished rereading. Everything to do with Ava breaks my heart and I know that the med bay aboard Caria is probably as good as anything on Olympus (given that Hecate is no fool). Still.

MY HEART.

I'm 2/3rds though the first edit. I should finish the first edit and read through Thursday - earlier or later depending on what I do during the day.

Ava is a special little girl...in so many ways.

Agreed. Kurt, thank you again for writing Ava in, it means the world to her.

She's practically bouncing off the walls looking forward to the next installment.

All our love, Mia and Ava x x x
