It's good work...but I don't like the design. It looks too unbalanced; the saucer looks too "heavy" for the support strut that connects it to the engineering hull and I have this mental image of the engineering hull and warp nacelles turning and the saucer snapping off due to the torque. If the impulse engines were smaller, then it may not look so unbalanced to my eye.

Figured that this could use a backstory, and some thoughts

Nichodo's refit of the Enterprise-class is a beautiful design and I just felt like it needed a top view. It WANTED to be completed. His story, however, called for the Enterprise (if it WEREN'T stolen) to be given a refit. The design is sound, but I thought to myself: 'what if the events on Star Trek III played out, but the wreck of the Enterprise was actually salvaged by Starfleet AND was given THAT refit that Nichodo designed (by that, I mean if it hadn't have fallen into Genesis' gravity field)?' That's been flying inside my head for a while

Anyway, check out its variant versions of the Grand Lady of the Stars

Her Variants

Cool designs :)

Good lord...where has the time gone for this place? -cleans this place by dusting and vacuuming- -coughs- okay...all cleaned up and ready for some highlights

Starting off is the predecessor of the Sovereign, long may she reign.
Another attempt to bring the Connie to the 24th century.
This is what the Phase II should've been.
As depicted from both Bridge Commander and Legacy.
Starfleet should have a contract on these YT models.
Which bridge you think is better?
Another Connie design...with ties to a classic TV Series
And finally...the moment you've all been waiting for: The ultimate success of bringing her into the future, reborn from the ashes.
