Hi all

I was curious if anyone had started to work on the colonial ships from this game in the style Canis (RIP :( ) used for his art ?

Specifically seeking
Jupiter class Battlestar
Artemis class Battlestar
Minerva class Battlestar

Would be will to discuss as commissions if anyone wanted to draw them up.

Can you point to screen shots of these ships?

Sure. I've only got a few basics at the moment til I get home from work where I'll pull some multi angle ones from the ship viewer. Apologies if images come out large I'm posting via a phone.

This is the Artemis - effectively just a modernised original series Battlestar

Jupiter class (Block 0 - Prototype) - In game lore which is supposedly canon to RDM Galactica. This is how Galactica appears at launch in the first few years of the war. Before been rebuilt into how we know it from the show which will occur in the games second season due our August 29th.

Lastly the Minerva. Precursor to the later Mercury class in design but smaller then then the Jupiter or Artemis designed as a 'Glass' cannon sacrifices armour for heavy gun placement on smaller frame and ordinance launchers.

In terms of scale the Jupiter would keep to Galactica's size main. Length wise, Artemis alongside Jupiter appears to be about 3/4 of the length with Minerva been just slightly smaller then the Artemis.

Also attached picture for the rebuild of the Jupiter for season 2 of the game with the first been reconfigured to block 1 is the Galactica herself.

Pictures from multiple angles.

Also it turns out the Minerva is a lot larger then I thought as the game described it as a Light Battlestar compared to the heavy (Jupiter) and standard (Artemis) type Battlestars, Pic is all 3 side by side deployed in skirmish.

Minerva Class - Cant be seen well on the model but the Ship has 15 Duel KEW's mounted on its back, under the nose and underside of the mid hull and flight pods. And then 26 Single Lighter calibre KEW's Mounted along the flight pods (2 Aft each side and 6 in the upper trench each side) and then 5 on each side of the head in the side Trench. The viper tubes are out of scale on the view model it seems.

Jupiter Class - Notes pods do retract like its later form sadly I cant get a good picture of it as only seen during jump in animation.

That's all the pictures I can secure right now. I'll post a comparison of the Jupiter before and after rebuild once the next season comes out.

Hoping someone will have a shot at making this into the art style we have from Canis.
