Folks,

I just received word that there's been an accident and Mia is in the hospital. For privacy and security, I'm not going to go into any additional details other than to say that she's in critical condition and needs our prayers, healing thoughts, and strength.

I'll post more as it becomes available.

Kurt

So sad to read that...
I wish you Mia a very fast and full recovery. My thoughts are with you and your little family.

i spoke with Mia this afternoon and it sounds like she’s slowly moving out of critical condition. We talked for about ten minutes before she became fatigued, and still had her sense of humor.

Still, she isn’t out of the woods yet and still needs our prayers and healing wishes.

More as it develops.

Ava is doing as best as can be expected given the circumstances. She's very rattled and scared over what happened and thankfully she has an incredible support group helping and keeping her busy.

I spoke with Mia today and there's a possibility of another surgery, but she is awake, alert, and already planning on what she's going to do when she leaves.

Mia is on the road to recover and is slowly getting back on her feet. I think it's now a matter of letting things heal and lots and lots of physical therapy.

hello everyone it's Imogen. i just wanted to talk to you all about Mimi. right here we go. Mimi was attacked more than once in different places by someone who was important to her and this persons associates. the last time was the worst one by far and her injuries were really severe. we actually thought we were going to lose her. she got her really bad injuries because she made sure me and the little princess were safe before turning to deal with the threat but that cost her time and she got nailed. although she was on the floor and clinging on she still defended us before she lost consciousness. we were able to get her to medical soon after that and start getting emergency treatment for the injuries but she's still weak and trying her best but you all know how damn stubborn she is and has already given us a near heart attack by actually getting up and walking into a crowded room. she was as white as a ghost and was shaking and nearly fell but the woman actually did it. we've started calling her Starbuck and we get a scowl from that, lol! she's got this fixation that she can't be on her bum because she can't protect us like that. maybe if she's ever able to get online and reads this she'll realize that sometimes you need to let other people look after you. i don't know if all military people are like that but there we go. anyway i'm sorry for rambling on but she IS on the mend but needs to learn that pushing herself like that isn't going to make matters better but it will make them worse. they've told her that she'll never be able to do the one activity that she loves and that i feel that she was born to do again and that will NOT sink in her head. Mimi's all like 'yes i will. you're full of rubbish and just watch me', THAT'S why we're calling her Starbuck like from that one episode. if you've got any question i'm happy to answer them as much as i'm allowed. oh, and by the way. the other person that is in our relationship is a woman who loves Mimi just as much as i do is called Skye. she's my best friend and we're a 'thruple' (smiles again at Kurt) and is with child. for Mimi. Yay! Imogen xx
